Method
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Season pork with salt and pepper.
- Sear pork in hot oil until browned on all sides.
- Remove pork and sauté onions until softened.
- Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Deglaze with apple cider and broth.
- Add herbs and apples, return pork to pot.
- Cover and braise in oven for 3 hours.
- Reduce sauce if needed and finish with butter.
Notes
Best served with mashed potatoes or crusty bread.
