- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and pinch of sugar. Let sit 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, sugar, salt, melted butter, and egg. Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour until doubled.
- Mix softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped apple for filling.
- Roll dough into 12×16-inch rectangle. Spread filling evenly.
- Roll tightly from long edge, cut into 12 rolls, place in greased 9×13-inch pan.
- Cover and let rise 30–40 minutes until puffy.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk. Drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
Chop apples finely to prevent soggy rolls. Glaze while rolls are warm for best texture.
