Method
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare crust: combine crumbs, sugar, melted butter; press into pan; bake 8–10 min.
- Prepare filling: beat cream cheese with sugar; add eggs one at a time; mix in vanilla, sour cream, cinnamon, nutmeg.
- Pour filling over cooled crust.
- Prepare apple topping: toss slices with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice; arrange on cheesecake.
- Prepare crumble: combine flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon, salt; cut in butter; sprinkle over apples.
- Bake 55–65 min; turn off oven, leave door slightly open 30 min.
- Cool completely; refrigerate at least 4 hours. Slice and serve.
Notes
Store refrigerated up to 3 days. Optional caramel drizzle before serving.
