- Preheat oven and prepare baking dish.
- Layer bread and bananas in dish.
- Whisk custard ingredients and pour over bread.
- Let soak 20 minutes.
- Bake 40–45 minutes until set.
- Prepare caramel sauce in saucepan.
- Add bananas to sauce and cook briefly.
- Pour sauce over warm pudding before serving.
