  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta until al dente and drain.
  2. Mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce.
  3. Make roux with butter and flour.
  4. Whisk in milk and cook until thickened.
  5. Add cheese and seasoning.
  6. Combine pasta, sauce, and chicken.
  7. Bake with optional topping until golden.

Notes

Use freshly grated cheese for best results.
