- Combine beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Whisk together all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Cook udon noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- Heat oil in a wok or skillet over high heat.
- Stir fry beef for 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove from pan.
- Cook onion and bell pepper for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Return beef to pan with udon noodles.
- Pour sauce over noodles and toss until glossy and coated.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Use freshly cracked black pepper for the boldest flavor. Fresh or frozen udon noodles provide the best chewy texture.
