- Clean and dry mushrooms thoroughly.
- Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and spices in a bowl.
- Add cold water and whisk into a smooth batter.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Dip mushrooms in batter and coat evenly.
- Fry in batches for 4–5 minutes until golden.
- Drain on paper towels.

Notes
