- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden and nutty.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped chocolate and espresso powder until smooth.
- Whisk in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
- Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Spread batter into prepared pan and bake 30-35 minutes.
- Cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra indulgence, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before baking. Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
