Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate chopped
  • 1 tbsp espresso powder
  • 1.25 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 3 eggs large
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup dark chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden and nutty.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in chopped chocolate and espresso powder until smooth.
  4. Whisk in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  6. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  7. Stir in chocolate chips.
  8. Spread batter into prepared pan and bake 30-35 minutes.
  9. Cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra indulgence, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before baking. Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
