Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup dark rum
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 0.25 cup corn syrup
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Method
 

  1. Prepare pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cook sugar, water, and corn syrup until amber.
  3. Add butter and stir until melted.
  4. Slowly stir in cream and rum.
  5. Cook to 245°F using a thermometer.
  6. Stir in vanilla and salt.
  7. Pour into pan and cool completely.

Notes

Wrap individually to prevent sticking. Sprinkle with flaky salt if desired.
