- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully combined.
- Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and reserve 1 cup of batter for swirling.
- Spread remaining brownie batter evenly into prepared pan.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth, then mix with sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Spread cheesecake mixture over brownie layer.
- Drop spoonfuls of reserved brownie batter on top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 38-45 minutes until center is just set.
- Cool completely and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars.
