  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 0.33 cup water
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup tomatoes diced
  • 0.25 cup onions diced
  • 1 jalapeño sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro for garnish
  • 0.5 cup sour cream for serving
  • 0.5 cup salsa for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook ground beef in olive oil until browned.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, water, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Arrange crescent dough triangles into a circular ring.
  5. Add taco meat mixture to the center of the dough.
  6. Top with cheddar cheese, tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños.
  7. Fold dough points over filling and tuck underneath.
  8. Bake until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Garnish with cilantro and serve with sour cream and salsa.

Notes

Allow the taco ring to cool slightly before slicing. Add guacamole or chipotle sauce for extra flavor.
