Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Bread
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Brushing
  • 1 egg beaten

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil, knead 5–7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
  2. Cook ground beef with onion, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper until fully cooked. Mix in shredded cheese.
  3. Divide dough into 8 portions. Flatten, place 2–3 tbsp filling, fold dough to seal.
  4. Place rolls on parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with beaten egg.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, optionally with dipping sauce.

Notes

Freeze rolls for make-ahead convenience and bake when needed.
