Method
- Whisk eggs with salt and pepper.
- Mix flour and cornstarch in separate bowl.
- Dip chicken in egg then coat in flour mixture.
- Heat oil to 350°F and fry chicken until golden.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Combine sauce ingredients in saucepan and bring to boil.
- Add cornstarch slurry and cook until thick.
- Toss chicken in sauce and serve.
Notes
For extra crispiness, double fry the chicken. Adjust sugar for preferred sweetness level.
