Dry Ingredients
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.33 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
Add-Ins
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips
  • 0.75 cup chopped cherries

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare loaf pan.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
  3. Mix wet ingredients separately.
  4. Combine wet and dry mixtures gently.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and cherries.
  6. Bake 55–65 minutes and cool before slicing.

Notes

Toss cherries in flour before mixing to prevent sinking.
