Ingredients
  

  • 1.25 cups almond flour finely ground
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 3 egg whites room temperature
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter creamy

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Sift almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
  2. Whip egg whites and sugar to stiff peaks.
  3. Fold dry ingredients into meringue.
  4. Pipe batter and rest until skin forms.
  5. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 15–18 minutes.
  6. Fill shells with peanut butter filling and assemble.

Notes

Allow macarons to mature overnight for best texture.
