Ingredients
  

Base & Topping
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl.
  3. Press one layer of crescent dough into the baking dish.
  4. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Spread the filling over the dough layer evenly.
  6. Top with second layer of dough and brush with melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly on top.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, chill before cutting for clean layers.
