Ingredients
  

Bread Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare loaf pan.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk mixture.
  6. Pour into pan and bake 50–60 minutes.
  7. Brush warm loaf with melted butter.
  8. Coat generously with cinnamon sugar.

Notes

For extra richness, drizzle with vanilla glaze. Store at room temperature up to 3 days.
