- In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast until foamy.
- Add sugar, softened butter, egg, salt, and flour. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled.
- Mix filling ingredients and spread over rolled dough.
- Roll dough into a log and cut into 12 rolls.
- Let rolls rise again for 30–45 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Beat cream cheese and butter, add powdered sugar and vanilla for glaze.
- Spread glaze over warm rolls and top with extra crushed cookies.
Notes
Best served warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
