Cowboy Butter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives chopped
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 0.5 tsp lemon zest
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Add softened butter to a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix in garlic, herbs, mustard, lemon juice, and zest.
  3. Add spices, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir until fully combined.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate until firm.

Notes

Excellent melted over steak or served as a dipping sauce. Adjust spice level to taste.
