Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp butter softened
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Mash avocado with salt and pepper.
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Spread avocado on unbuttered side of two slices.
  4. Top with shredded cheeses and remaining bread.
  5. Cook in skillet 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
  6. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Use medium heat to prevent burning before cheese melts.
