Ingredients
  

Beef and Pasta
  • 8 oz pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 0.5 cup onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 0.75 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Pot for pasta
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta shells until al dente and set aside.
  2. Brown ground beef with butter in a skillet.
  3. Add onion and garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and cook briefly.
  5. Add broth and cream and simmer gently.
  6. Toss pasta and cheese into sauce until creamy.

Notes

Add a splash of milk when reheating.
