Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Creamy Mushroom Sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cups mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat oil in skillet and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt butter and sauté mushrooms until browned.
  4. Add onion and garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Pour in broth and simmer briefly.
  6. Stir in cream, Parmesan, and thyme. Simmer until thickened.
  7. Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Allow mushrooms to brown properly for deeper flavor. Simmer cream gently to avoid separation.
