Pasta
  • 300 g linguine
Beef
  • 400 g beef strips sirloin or flank
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 0.5 cup pasta water reserved
  • parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Stir in parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  6. Season with Italian seasoning, paprika, and pepper.
  7. Return beef to the skillet and mix well.
  8. Add linguine and toss to coat evenly.
  9. Use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor and texture. Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for variation.
