Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce
  • 12 oz pasta penne, rigatoni, or fusilli
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg optional
  • 0.25 cup breadcrumbs optional, for topping
  • fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet. Sauté garlic 1–2 minutes. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  4. Pour in cream, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir in 1/2 cup mozzarella and 1/4 cup parmesan until smooth.
  5. Mix pasta into sauce. Transfer to baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese and optional breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and golden. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Can be customized with additional vegetables or proteins. Make-ahead friendly.
