  • 12 mozzarella sticks full-fat, frozen
  • 12 slices bacon thin-cut
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

  • Wire rack or air fryer basket
  • Small mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Freeze mozzarella sticks for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Wrap each frozen mozzarella stick tightly with one slice of bacon.
  5. Place seam-side down on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, turning halfway, until bacon is crispy.
  7. Let rest briefly before serving warm.

Notes

Freeze cheese thoroughly to prevent melting. Serve with marinara or ranch for dipping.
