  • 1 lb lump crab meat picked over
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Add milk and cream, stirring constantly.
  3. Season and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Fold in crab and heat through.
