  • 12 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups provolone cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley for garnish

  • Pasta pot

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.
  2. Season steak with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook steak in olive oil until browned, then remove from skillet.
  4. Melt butter and sauté onions and peppers until softened.
  5. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  6. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, simmering until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in provolone and parmesan cheese until melted.
  8. Add pasta and toss to coat in creamy sauce.
  9. Return steak to skillet and stir gently before serving.

Notes

Freshly grated provolone melts best for a creamy texture. Add mushrooms or jalapeños for delicious variations.
