- Cook pasta, reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, drain.
- Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic (and red pepper flakes) and sauté 1 minute.
- Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side; remove from skillet.
- Toss pasta in skillet with garlic butter and reserved pasta water.
- Return shrimp to skillet; add lemon juice, parmesan, and parsley.
- Toss gently and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
