Ingredients
  

Stromboli
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup pepperoni sliced optional
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
Garlic Butter
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • marinara sauce for dipping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly across the dough leaving a border.
  4. Add pepperoni slices if desired.
  5. Roll dough tightly into a log.
  6. Slice the log into 1.5-inch pieces.
  7. Place pieces cut side down on prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  10. Brush hot stromboli sticks with garlic butter and sprinkle parmesan.
  11. Serve warm with marinara sauce.

Notes

Add vegetables or different cheeses to customize the filling. Best served warm.
