- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan.
- Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and cream soda.
- Fill liners ⅔ full and bake 18–20 minutes.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- Beat frosting ingredients until smooth and fluffy.
- Frost cupcakes and drizzle with caramel if desired.
Notes
Flatten cream soda before using to prevent excess bubbles.
