Ingredients
  

Steak Bowls
  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 3 cups jasmine rice cooked
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional

  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Pat steak cubes dry and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  3. Sear steak bites until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
  4. Remove steak and reduce heat to medium.
  5. Add butter and garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant.
  6. Stir in honey and soy sauce to create the glaze.
  7. Return steak to skillet and toss until coated.
  8. Simmer briefly until sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Serve steak bites over cooked rice.
  10. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and optional pepper flakes.

Notes

For maximum tenderness, avoid overcooking the steak. Add steamed vegetables for a complete meal bowl.
