Ingredients
  

Beef
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
Sauce
  • 0.33 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup sriracha sauce
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
Bowls
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup broccoli steamed
  • 1 carrot thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook ground beef until browned and stir in garlic and ginger.
  3. Season beef with salt and black pepper.
  4. Whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
  5. Pour sauce into skillet and simmer until thickened.
  6. Prepare bowls with cooked rice and vegetables.
  7. Top rice with honey sriracha beef mixture.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Adjust spice level by adding more or less sriracha. Great for meal prep and leftovers.
