Pretzel Chicken
  • 2 lbs chicken breast cubed
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Casserole
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
Hot Honey Sauce
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Coat chicken pieces in egg and pretzel breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Bake chicken for 15 minutes until lightly crisp.
  4. Warm honey, hot sauce, butter, and seasonings in a saucepan.
  5. Layer biscuit dough, cheese, and pretzel chicken into baking dish.
  6. Pour cream over casserole and drizzle with hot honey.
  7. Bake 20–25 minutes until biscuits are golden and cheese bubbles.
  8. Drizzle remaining hot honey before serving.

Notes

Serve hot for the best crispy texture and melted cheese pull.
