Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 2 cups crushed digestive biscuits
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
Caramel Layer
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Crunch Layer
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 0.5 cup chopped roasted nuts optional
Chocolate Topping
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • 9x13 baking pan
  • Saucepan

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 pan.
  2. Mix crust ingredients and press into pan. Bake 10 minutes.
  3. Cook caramel ingredients in saucepan until thick.
  4. Pour caramel over crust and add crunch layer.
  5. Melt chocolate and spread over top.
  6. Refrigerate until set, then slice.

Notes

Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before chocolate sets for enhanced flavor. Store refrigerated.
