Ingredients
  

Brioche Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 0.75 cup whole milk warm
  • 3 eggs
Custard Filling
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 0.25 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Prepare brioche dough and let rise until doubled.
  2. Cook custard until thick and chill completely.
  3. Fill dough with custard and chocolate chips.
  4. Let rise again, brush with egg wash.
  5. Bake until golden brown.

Notes

Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor or milk chocolate for a sweeter bite.
