Ingredients
  

Jalapeno Base
  • 12 jalapenos halved and seeded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Creamy Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Topping
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Halve jalapenos and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. Brush jalapenos lightly with olive oil and place on baking sheet.
  4. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Spoon filling into jalapeno halves.
  6. Top with crumbled bacon and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake 18-22 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

Adjust spice level by controlling jalapeno membranes. Best served warm and fresh from the oven.
