Ingredients
  

Kataifi Dough
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
Filling
  • 2 cups chopped nuts walnuts or pistachios

Equipment

  • Nonstick pan
  • Squeeze bottle
  • Baking dish

Method
 

  1. Prepare kataifi strands using thin batter.
  2. Make syrup and allow to cool.
  3. Assemble kataifi with butter and filling.
  4. Bake until golden and soak with syrup.

Notes

Always pour cool syrup over hot pastry.
