Ingredients
  

Steak
  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
Rice
  • 2 cups white rice cooked
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp cilantro chopped
Queso Sauce
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1 jalapeƱo diced

Method
 

  1. Season steak with spices and cook in skillet until desired doneness.
  2. Allow steak to rest before slicing thinly.
  3. Mix cooked rice with lime juice and cilantro.
  4. Prepare queso sauce by making a roux and adding milk and cheese.
  5. Assemble bowls with rice, steak, queso sauce, and toppings.

Notes

Add chipotle sauce for smoky heat.
