Ingredients
  

Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts halved
  • 4 slices bacon thick-cut, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup pure
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • to taste salt and black pepper
  • optional red pepper flakes or toasted pecans for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper; spread on baking sheet.
  3. Scatter chopped bacon over sprouts.
  4. Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway.
  5. Add garlic in last 5 minutes of roasting.
  6. Drizzle with maple syrup and balsamic vinegar; toss gently.
  7. Optional: garnish with red pepper flakes or toasted pecans; serve immediately.
