Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar plus extra for coating
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 orange zest from 1 orange
  • 1 vanilla bean split or substitute extract

Method
 

  1. Rinse cranberries and discard damaged ones.
  2. Simmer water, sugar, orange zest, and vanilla until sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  4. Add cranberries and soak for 1 hour.
  5. Remove cranberries and roll in sugar.
  6. Dry on parchment until crisp.
