Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 eggs large
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Peanut Butter Filling
  • 1.5 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Mix in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until combined.
  5. Fold chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
  6. In another bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla until creamy.
  7. Spread half the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  8. Carefully spread peanut butter filling over the batter.
  9. Top with remaining brownie batter and smooth gently.
  10. Bake for 38-45 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
  11. Cool completely before slicing into squares and serving.

Notes

For extra indulgence, drizzle melted chocolate or peanut butter over the brownies before serving. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
