  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk adjust for thickness
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 tbsp sugar optional
Toppings
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 0.25 cup crushed candy canes
  • 1 peppermint stick for garnish

Method
 

  1. Prepare the ingredients and chill glasses.
  2. Blend ice cream, milk, peppermint extract, and sugar until smooth.
  3. Whip cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Pour milkshake into chilled glasses.
  5. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed candy canes.
  6. Garnish with peppermint stick and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, layer crushed candy canes inside the glass before pouring milkshake.
