Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Chop pistachios and place in a shallow bowl. Mix with pinch of salt if desired.
- Brush brie rounds with beaten egg. Press tops into chopped pistachios.
- Optional: Place brie on puff pastry squares, fold edges, brush with egg wash, sprinkle pistachios on top.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until brie is soft and pistachios lightly toasted.
- Drizzle with honey and garnish with thyme or rosemary. Serve warm.
Notes
Keep brie chilled while preparing for easier coating. Serve with fruit for extra flavor contrast.
