Red Velvet Layer
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 0.75 cup sugar
Cheesecake Layer
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
Strawberry Topping
  • 2 cups strawberries sliced

Method
 

  1. Bake red velvet layer and cool slightly.
  2. Prepare cheesecake filling and pour over base.
  3. Bake until set, then chill thoroughly.
  4. Cook strawberry topping and cool.
  5. Top cheesecake before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled. Add topping just before serving for freshest look.
