  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp espresso powder
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • flaky sea salt for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter together.
  3. Whisk sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Add espresso powder and melted chocolate.
  5. Mix in dry ingredients.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheet.
  7. Bake until crackly on top.
  8. Sprinkle salt and cool before serving.

Notes

Do not overbake for best fudgy texture. Sprinkle salt immediately after baking.
