Ingredients
  

Dumplings
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 30 dumpling wrappers
Soy Glaze
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch slurry

Method
 

  1. Mix pork, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and cornstarch.
  2. Place filling in dumpling wrappers and seal edges.
  3. Pan fry dumplings until bottoms are golden.
  4. Add water and steam covered until cooked through.
  5. Prepare soy glaze by simmering soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, and sesame oil.
  6. Add cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
  7. Drizzle glaze over dumplings and serve.

Notes

Serve with chili oil or soy dipping sauce for extra flavor.
