  • 3 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 8 sandwich buns

Method
 

  1. Sear seasoned chuck roast until browned.
  2. Place roast in slow cooker with onions, garlic, broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours until tender.
  4. Shred beef and return to juices.
  5. Assemble sandwiches with beef and cheddar on toasted buns.

Notes

Cooking on low produces the most tender shredded beef.
