Ingredients
  

Pretzel Dough
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups warm water
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
Filling
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Activate yeast in warm water with sugar until foamy.
  2. Mix dough ingredients and knead until smooth.
  3. Let dough rise until doubled in size.
  4. Wrap dough around hot dogs with cheese.
  5. Boil briefly in baking soda bath.
  6. Bake until golden brown.
