- Cook fettuccine pasta in salted boiling water until al dente and reserve pasta water.
- Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook shrimp in olive oil over medium-high heat until pink and slightly charred.
- Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently.
- Gradually stir in parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add red pepper flakes and adjust seasoning.
- Toss cooked pasta into the Alfredo sauce.
- Add shrimp back into the skillet and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor add lemon juice or additional Cajun seasoning before serving. Best enjoyed fresh and hot.
