Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread cream cheese evenly over the pastry.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar evenly, then add sliced jalapeños.
- Season with garlic powder and smoked paprika.
- Fold pastry in half lengthwise and press gently to seal.
- Cut into 1-inch strips and twist each strip carefully.
- Place twists on baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake 15–18 minutes until golden.
- Brush lightly with melted butter and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Adjust spice level by removing jalapeño seeds or adding extra for more heat. Best served warm and crispy.
