Ingredients
  

Pastry Base
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 jalapeños thinly sliced
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread cream cheese evenly over the pastry.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar evenly, then add sliced jalapeños.
  5. Season with garlic powder and smoked paprika.
  6. Fold pastry in half lengthwise and press gently to seal.
  7. Cut into 1-inch strips and twist each strip carefully.
  8. Place twists on baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake 15–18 minutes until golden.
  9. Brush lightly with melted butter and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Adjust spice level by removing jalapeño seeds or adding extra for more heat. Best served warm and crispy.
